Meet Dr. Danielle Bauer – Wheaton orthodontist

Dr. Danielle Bauer grew up in Homer Glen, IL. She received her undergraduate degree in Genetic Biology from Purdue University.  She then returned home to complete her dental degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. While in dental school, Dr. Bauer was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, an honors fraternity, and graduated number one in her dental school class.  Since 1891, the year the dental school opened, it has only had two females ever graduate first in their class. After completing dental school, she then went on to a 3 year residency program where she received her Masters Degree in Oral Sciences as well as her specialty certificate in Orthodontics.  She earned her board certification in orthodontics in 2016.  Dr. Bauer loves being a Wheaton orthodontist and the study of orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.

Dr. Danielle loves working with children and adults of all ages and is looking forward to meeting with you and discussing how we can achieve your esthetic goals.  She takes the time to discuss treatment options and will help you choose the best one for your needs.  Dr. Danielle also has a passion for treating patients with special needs.  She received her Masters Degree by doing her thesis on the jaw alignment and tooth positions of children with Down Syndrome.  Dr. Danielle Bauer is married to Dr. Bryan Bauer and they have four children; Cora, Hudson, Alina, and Bennett.  The Bauers are huge sports enthusiasts, especially Big 10 sports.  They also enjoy traveling, gardening, and cooking.
