What does a top Wheaton orthodontist and a top Glen Ellyn oral surgeon have in common?

Recognize the CDS Senior Student Dental Student Award winners from 2007 in the upper right hand corner?  

This award goes to the students who graduate at the top of their classes for both Southern Dental School and the University of Illinois Dental School.  It just so happens that our area is blessed to have both of these gifted doctors.  Dr. Danielle Bauer DDS, MS is an orthodontist in Wheaton at Bauer Orthodontics and Dr. Chad Drouin DMD is an oral surgeon in Glen Ellyn at Glen Ellyn Implant and Oral Surgery Center. Both doctors are currently in the process of becoming board certified in their respective fields.

This photo was “dug up” after a chance comment while discussing some mutual patients led to the realization that they both won the same award the same year and there was certainly a picture of the two of them together from the awards event.  Small World!!  It sure is nice to know our communities have the best and the brightest working on them.
