Dr. Lynse Briney completed her undergraduate degree at Iowa State University and continued on to the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) College of Dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Briney completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center where she had extensive training with special needs and medically compromised patients. While practicing general dentistry for three years she discovered that the days she enjoyed most were those spent treating children. While completing her specialty training, Dr. Briney also received her Master of Science in Oral Sciences investigating the relationship between oral health and childhood obesity.
As well as practicing at Bauer Dentistry and Orthodontics, Dr. Briney is on staff at Lurie Children’s Hospital. In October 2012, she became a Diplomate to the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is also an active member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, American Dental Society and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She received a Fellowship from the American College of Dentistry in 2016 and also has a Fellowship from American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Briney loves spending time with her husband and two boys, cooking, gardening, and traveling. We are extremely excited to have Dr. Briney join our growing dental family and look forward to you meeting her!
