Frenectomy

Dental implants on your mind?  Are you looking for someone that can BOTH place The frenum is a muscle that connects the upper lip to the gums. In some people, the frenum attaches too close to the area between the front teeth, resulting in a space between the front teeth (diastema), which can prevent teeth from coming in their correct position and eventually causing gum recession. This is easily manageable!! We can first close the space orthodontically (with braces), then after space closure, the patient gets sent to a specialist to remove the excess muscle, which can help prevent re-opening of the space in the future.
